We are having a marvelous time down here in Lubbock! Well, at least we were...until I had the week from hhhhh e llllllll...o. To start on a good note, I had a craft night. We made the cute mason jar luminaries that you can see below. We got together during Priesthood session while the guys were out. I have to give the credit for our success to "yo gabba gabba." Without that "created on crack" show we never would have been able to finish! We have been watching the BYU games faithfully and having fun with our friends at the same time. Riggs has been drinking his bath water, complete with soap and his own tinkle. We have received killer packages from both Grandmas! We are so lucky. I painted stripes in the kitchen. And yes, I have to paint it back in four years. Riggs has a girlfriend, named Elana. Her mother is my dearest friend, who I would not survive without. Riggs loves to say "Lena" and asks me where she is all day long. Our stake down here had a killer Share Fair this morning. Basically every room in the building was filled with donations from the stake ranging from furniture, to shoes, to baby stuff, to toiletries, to kitchen appliances. And everything is free! I got some clothes for Riggs, some adorable mugs, amazing ugly Christmas sweaters, a vintage blouse, a basketball hoop, books, cook books, puzzles, and picture frames. Sawheet people!I am so grateful for my friends down here.. you know who you are. They are my sanity. I joined a mommy and me music group with them. Riggs is the only bad one, but he keeps the class spicy. Greg loves med school! I get to see him enough for me to know he is alive :). Nah, we get to see each other plenty. He works so hard! Riggs is turning two!! WTFreak. Sometimes I get really weirded out during the day when I realize I just had a full conversation with him. He's getting so big.

Okay, so now that you know that we are functional and happy I will tell you the horror story that is my son...Riggmond.

It all started on the drive home from the park. It was a peaceful day, beautiful really. Riggs and I were singing "hot dog" from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse when I heard my phone ringing. I started to search for it... But nothing. I pulled into the garage and started searching frantically for it. Nothing, until I put my ear up to the stereo and the sound got louder. I then moved my ear up towards the air vent and the sound got really loud. Riggs had stuck my flippin phone in the air vent. As many of you know, having no phone when you live in a new state, with no husband,can be bad. So I had to facebook people to call my husband for me. I had to facebook my sister to have her call my mother so my mother could skype me. It was ridiculous. The following morning, still no phone, Greg takes off for school with the carseat on accident. No phone, no carseat. Now I am mad. I stick RIggs in the front seat, strap him in and drive to school to break into Greg's car and get the carseat. Then I take Riggs home to grab some breakfast before we go figure out how to get my phone out of the vent and Riggs sticks his hand on the griddle. I spend the next 45 minutes running his hand under cold water. You can see in the picture below, he had to eat his pancakes while he held his hand in a cup of water. Thanks Talia, for bring me aloe and saving me from a melt down. As we are leaving the house, Riggs finds my digital camera, puts it on the ground and stomps on it. Broken. He got a timeout like you wouldn't believe!!! Finally we leave the house. I stop at the gas station and my credit card is missing. It is never missing. I look in my purse, my wallet, the car. Gone! We drive to a car repair shop. They tell me they will charge me $100 for every hour it takes them to get my phone out. The next place tells me they won't even try. The next place tells me they have to take the dashboard off and it will cost between $600 and $700. I tell them I don't have a credit card any way so i'll just be on my way.

Well I decided not to get my phone out. It will probably ruin the ac. I got a new credit card. I bought a $20 phone... Today I found my lost credit card along with my subway card and my lowes gift card, stuffed into the dvd player.

To top it all off, today while I was at the car wash, I looked down and my diamond was missing on my wedding ring. I don't know where it fell out, but it did. The worst part is, I haven't been able to get it inspected within the last four months, so the warranty is dead.

Well, I hope that everyone has just the greatest day. Remember... if your day is bad, mine was way worse. I love you all, and I love Lubbock, and I love Greg, and I love Riggs (most of the time). Just kidding, he is my little man no matter how much he destroys me.

It's a new day in the life of Abigail Anderson. I am officially on my own in the driest,hottest, deadest, most beautiful piece of land West Texas has to offer. I am accompanied by my hotty hubby Gregor, and a little boy who thinks that it's funny to dump his raspberry shake on the wine display at Sam's club. OH yes, we also have a dog. His name is Ollie, or Ollivander. He is not ours, but he is for the week. We have pitched our tents in Lubbock, and we love it.
Today I said goodbye to my mom and sister, which was sad. First we had the Anderson's here. They drove our belongings, filled our house with furniture, fed us, and did about everything else. We are lucky. We even took them to Rudy's. If you ever make it out here, I'll take you there. It's a gas station restaurant with real Texas class. Then my mom and sister came out. Tam and Tor. They decorated, fed us, cleaned, and played with us. Oh yes, we saw Harry Potter, like five days late, but we saw it. That movie blew my mind.
Now we are here without any family but we are going to be okay. We are sooooo happy! We had the Walkers over for tin foil dinners tonight. We love our ward. Did I mention that Wal-Mart is just around the corner of our house. If you go around the other corner you will see.. nothing.. brown dirt as far as the eye can see. But I choose to go around the other corner...to Wal-Mart. NO, there is actually much more than Wal-Mart. Lubbock is actually huge and really cool. We have everything here you can basically imagine, just don't imagine too hard. Well I have some pictures to post of the move, our fun, and how our little town home is coming along. I hope you like our new home as much as we do.
Thank you Anderson's and Feulner's for all of your help and support. I miss my friends. I miss play dates and bbq's. I miss little Luke. I miss green grass. I miss mountains. I even miss Bubbles and Bear. I miss built-in-babysitters. I miss you all. But I AM GOING TO BE OK. I AM GOING TO BE OK. Seriously though, I'll be okay. New adventure...here I come!

HELLLLOOOO! IT's been a while, as per usual. I had to post these pictures that my cousin took of Riggs. You can check out her work at simplytaken.net.

A quick update... We just sent in Greg's application for medical school to about eighteen different schools. We are so excited! I secretly want to go to Wakeforest so bad so we can say we live in North Carolina. So cool.
We are going to Disneyland this week with all of Greg's family. I'm sneaking Riggs on Space Mountain. He's gonna have the ride of his life. I tried to do a raw vegetable, fruit and nut cleanse and it did the opposite. Riggs is crawling like crazy and standing up on furniture. Mucho love!

My sister in law Ashley took these pictures for us. We had a photo shoot in the entry hall. I am a little obsessed with Riggs right now. I have yet to see a cuter baby!!!! He is so photogenic. Ok so he is laughing now. Greg got Riggs to go into a laughing attack the other night. I try to get things done during the day but I can't stop playing with him. Being a mom is the best job in the world. You would think so too if you had this babe. We just took Riggs up to the cabin for the first time and had a sleep over this weekend. He cried when he woke up because he didn't know where he was and there was a giant moose head staring down at him. So long Farwell

I know all of you have been dying to see baby Riggs :). Here is the beb. He has grown so much. He is three months old now. WOW! His favorite thing to do is stand up. He pulls himself up. It's so cute. He also loves to sit in his bumbo (thank you sarah). We love our little Riggs and he is a dang fine baby!

Ok, this is overdue and yet is not because life has been crazy since little Riggs came into the world and there has been no time to blog. (other new mommies can vouch for that). I am the happiest girl in the entire world. Riggs is the cutest baby on the planet. Oh my gosh you all need to see him.
Okay here is the story! Greg and I went to the hospital on Tuesday the 20th at 7:30 am to get induced. Contractions hit fast and I went through the worst pain ever for about 2 and a half hours with them coming every two minutes. I didn't know I could have the epideral anytime so I suffered for a while. Then I got the epideral and it was amazing! I was paralyzed for the rest of the day. Greg and I watched four movies: The Dark Night, Mean Girls, Baby Mama, and Casino Royale. It was so relaxing. Greg was a trooper and rubbed my back and stayed awake with me the whole time. I started pushing around 8 p.m. and pushed for an hour and forty minutes and barely any progress was being made. Finally the Dr. came in and had to use the vacuum to get him out (I felt that pain later) and he was finally born at 10:05 p.m. on October 20th! He weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. He has brown hair that is soooooooo cute. He has the most perfect face on the planet! Petite little features and a round little apple head. Well here are some pictures. We are getting professional ones taken by courtney winnie tomorrow!! Yay those will be up sometime too. Here we go. These are all out of order

Your due date came and went on Sunday, but you didn't. strange. I thought you would have. I waited all day for ya and you didn't show. I guess you were still busy preparing to get down here. Let's see, I jumped on the tramp... you didn't come. I ate spicy mexican food... you didn't come. I went four wheeling... you didn't come. The Doctor scraped my membranes... you didn't come. I tripped and fell on my face... you didn't come.

So now you are a day late! But good news Peanut. You are coming tomorrow! I guess I should say today because it is passed midnight. At 7:30 a.m. dad and I are taking you to the hospital in my tummy and they are going to induce me and you are going to come out and meet us. Oh man are we excited! We have our bags all packed and I am not going to be able to sleep tonight. I can't believe what is about to happen! You better come peanut. This is the last straw. So if all goes well, your birthday will be tomorrow/today. So happy Birthday baby boy! I love you so much and I just want you to come out and cuddle with me. I love you, love mommy

Well I am going to try and get some sleep because I have a feeling I won't be doing much of that tomorrow. We will keep everyone posted on what is happening with baby Riggs. Then you can all come and meet him. Ahhhhhhh! I am going to be a mom. crazy crazy crazy. ok goodnight... Oh and I just want to mention that I have the best hub in the world and he is going to make the cutest dad in the world. He already got halloween off from work because he is taking peanut trick or treating in his new pumpkin costume. What a cutie dad. Until manana!

Hello dear friends! We have been awful at updating our blog and will now present you with a ream of pictures and captions that attempt to show and tell you what we have been up to in our lives. Hold on tight because this could get a little lengthy. We live with Ron and Tami now and are having a grand ol' time being home.
First of all, I am officially 34 weeks prego, meaning I only have 6 weeks remaining until peanut is fully cooked and ready for delivery. Yee ha peanut, let's do this thing!

We did a lot of boating this summer. Greg looks dang fine surfing. I just tried not to think about the bouncing baby on my bladder the entire time.

Greg's mission president came home and we went to his homecoming! Greg loves them so much and it was fun to meet them.

We discovered a new restaurant, thanks to the one and only GUY from Diners, Drive In's and Dives. Moochies is the best and gave us delicious philly cheese steak sandwiches!

Greg and I went on a hot date to Sundance. We rode the tram up the mountain during the full moon. He got a little chilly, but luckily we found this puffy mom jacket for him to stay warm in.

I had my first shower in my home ward and peanut got spoiled. Rotten peanut, just rotten.

Michael left on his mission :( I'm not in the picture because I was outside convincing a lady cop that resembled a leathery orange peel not to give us a ticket for parking in the drop-off only zone.

We are so dang pregnant. I have to keep reminding myself that I am not a small farm cow wearing a patterned shirt, but that I'm glowing!

I have some news.... I'm having twins! But really, it's a boy, but I think he wants a twin. He is 12 oz. right now. I was very sad to find that out because I definitely have not gained 12 ounces. Dangit little baby! I am officially past the half way mark. We are at 21 weeks and my belly is starting to pop out. We are so excited! We can't wait for our little guy to come out. We are probably going to name him Riggs, after his father Gregory Riggs, and his father's mother, Raylen Riggs Anderson. He is destined to be a little hottie with that name! Anywho, we went to our ultra sound and he was sucking his little thumb. I don't know how to get the picture on here, but I'll figure it out. I want him to come right now! Tell me if you come up with a better name than riggs! But seriously if you come up with one that would be really rude... Farewell!

Hooray I shall blog today! Okay so most of you know. Well all of you know but I felt that for the first time I have something to blog about so just pretend it's the first time you have heard it! WE ARE PREGNANT. We gotta bun in the oven. I feel bad that most people had to find out without me telling them because word spread like a wild fire. But it is so exciting. It was not planned! Though all of my friends won't believe me because I wouldn't stop talking about how badly I wanted a baby. Well I got my wish! And now I'm sicker than a dog! I guess that's the price you pay for the little babe!
I went and had my first ultra sound a few weeks ago. It looks like a little peanut. So that is what we have nick named it.... Peanut. Feel free to refer to him/her as such. Peanut was going crazy in my stomach and flipping all over the place and wiggling it's little arms and legs. I asked the doctor if something was wrong and he said it looked like a hyper one! Ha. I guess I can't expect anything less from an abby/greg combo. I don't know if I just shared too much information but whatever. We are so happy! We are due October 18th. Much love

friends come up and chow down at a good old fashioned bbq so we could hang out with Soi!

I decided that I need to get wedding pictures and honeymoon pictures on here since I am a newlywed, duh! So I'll write about the honeymoon. We spent the first two nights in the Hilton (an Anderson family friend gave that to us, so very nice). We had a blast. We ran around downtown, ate steaks at Spencers, used VIP passes for the executive Suite Lounge, and forgot to go to church. What a way to start out a marriage! After planning a wedding there is nothing more relaxing than two nights at the Hilton.

After that is was a five day cruise to the west side of Mexico. As you can imagine (but please try not to) we did not participate in many on-ship activites such as bingo, treasure hunting, pool swimming (sea water pools), salsa dancing, bar drinking, or even eating some nights. Room service is a beautiful thing! We had so much fun though. We got off at Cabo and Greg had to stop me from paying 30 bucks to a poor man trying to sell me an ugly bracelet. I finally bought it for five and around the next corner they were selling them for $1. Ima loser! We got fake tattoos and played on the beach all day. We played the game Run away from the sharks (you may have played it in your local pool when you were five) in the ocean and I think we gave Americans a bad name cuz all the Mexicans thought we were koo koo. But then I really started getting stung by jelly fish and Greg wouldn't beleive me and kept pulling me back into the water. Only later did he feel bad when he witnessed my jelly wounds.

If anyone is thinking of going on a cruise for their honeymoon in the future, do it! It was so stinkin fun and relaxing. It is the only way to go ok? cool. Bye now

Greg and I decided it was time for a good old fashioned sleepover in which we would inflate a mattress and listen to Harry Potter 7 in the dark. That was the game plan any way. Until I passed out at some point while Greg was putting the thirteenth disc into the player and left Greg to pull an all nighter by himself. This was not wise! When I woke up I found otter pop wrappers covering our area of sleep! I think there may have been some red syrup on my face. I do not know what happened but Gregory went psycho on us and overdosed on popsicles. We are working on his sugar addictions (refer to evidence below).

Ok, so this is me writing on my blog. I am going to need some major help with this. Anyone who knows me knows that I am no good with keeping up with this stuff. I fully expect my five bloggin friends (ha ha) to comment on how proud they are that I have posted something. I have no pictures of my wedding for some reason so I will start with the weekend!!!

I have never thought that Brian Regan was funny. Well, untiil Thursday night when I almost tinkled my pants. The Anderson family went to his show at Thanksgiving Point this weekend, but there was one problem... Greg was at Scout Camp so I had to watch it alone :(. Good thing I brought the Taminator along. She was a fine date! Allie Hunt was there too, so we had a threesome. Cup of Dirt, Spelling Bee, and News Casting were some of the classic Brian Regan jokes. Well, it was a hoot and a holler, and I have six mosquito bites to prove I was there and a whole lotta pictures of me... alone. I am dyin here with out Greg! He has been gone for sixteen hours now.
